A. A Neuro-Oncologist is a physician who specializes in the treatment of brain tumors and tumors of the Central Nervous System.

Q. WHO SHOULD SEE AN ONCOLOGIST?
A. Any patient diagnosed with a primary brain or spine tumor and patients diagnosed with secondary metastasis to the brain or spine should visit a neuro-oncologist. We also recommend that patients with neurological problems from primary cancers, leptomeningeal metastisis and many other neurological complications visit with a neuro-oncologist.
